This is Clara & William J King (Bob's parents) traveling by airplane somewhere - I don't have the date or location, but the image scanned clearly, and the plane in the background is great! Notice they are all dressed up - back in the 1950s, please put on a coat & tie to board a plane! I'd guess this was 1950 or earlier based on how old William looks.
Sorry for the gap in posting pictures and stories, but here are some more.

Here are a collection of Bob King as a baby - I don't have these originals, I got them from the batch scanned for Bob's funeral in April, 2014. But wanted to go ahead and post them just to speed up the sharing of all photos I have access to.
![]() This appears to have been taken about 1-2 years after William J. King passed away. Bob and Jo at the Pharmacy with a picture of William King in the background. I found a film clip, without sound, of William King working at the Pharmacy, Jo is there too, and I'm assuming Bob is working the camera. https://youtu.be/QEIVXtmK5K8 Mike King identified the woman in the video clip as Mary Sharp, but he didn't know who the other pharmacist was (and neither do I). The blue liquid in glass appears in the film clip, Jo looks like this old photo, and I've got two screen captures from the film clip. Enjoy! Pictures of Bob King's kids, and Jo King's kids, Christmas at Grandma Clara King's home in Twin Falls. I'm guessing late 1970s, perhaps 1976.
This video clip is from a home movie recorded without sound. https://youtu.be/v_5NX2uYkeQ Another batch of images these show Bob working at the Pharmacy - - mostly at the Professional Pharmacy in Twin Falls, but some could be at other locations. This gallery shows Bob at Idaho State University (then Idaho State College). Mostly during the late 1950s. |
